PCOD Shield: Educate, Empower, Eradicate

An awareness and education program titled “PCOD Shield: Educate, Empower, Eradicate” was conducted for 7th and 8th standard students to promote early understanding of PCOD. The session engaged over 60 students at Sungrace Convent School, Mankhurd West, Mumbai.

The PCOD Shield: Educate, Empower, Eradicate program was organized for students of 7th and 8th standard, reaching more than 60 students at Sungrace Convent School, Mankhurd West, Mumbai. The initiative aimed to create early awareness about Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD), its causes, symptoms, and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle from a young age.

The session focused on age-appropriate education, encouraging open discussion, and addressing common myths related to PCOD. Students were empowered with basic knowledge on nutrition, physical activity, and self-care practices that contribute to long-term well-being. The program emphasized prevention through awareness, fostering confidence and informed decision-making among young adolescents.
